The Gorki X designs a platform for mediation at the Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin. The X stands as a “pictogram for meeting at a common point”. It is about exchange and interaction as well as the focus on meeting people. The aim is to enable active participation in the theatre, the themes and the spaces of discourse and thought.
Everyone can feel addressed here: Groups, individual visitors, experts, theatre newcomers and everyone between the ages of 16 and 96. In addition to workshops, discussions, project days, workshops, labs and clubs, there will also be performances and play developments. In spaces that are open to everyone, the aim is to create opportunities for creative exchange.
