The Turkish Community in Germany (TGD) is an umbrella organization whose member associations organize around 270 associations nationwide.
The association sees itself as a pluralistic and politically neutral representation of the interests of people from Turkey living in Germany. The TGD concentrates its activities on the Federal Republic. The TGD represents an integrative policy and advocates the legal, social and political equality of residents of non-German, especially Turkish origin in the Federal Republic of Germany.
